White Bump Above Tooth

Speleologists urban ...!

"It all started with the stories and legends that turned up ... mysterious rooms and tunnels that were related to each other palaces of the family Vitelli in Citta di Castello (PG)!" So begins Antonio, a member of Polyhedron, our guide to discover Caves and subterfuge ... in town!
think that ... on Town of Castle there are no underground sources, anthology, nothing! They found all by themselves! The girls working in the field of culture The cooperative Polyhedron, have put together the knowledge, curiosity and courage and venture to explore the underground city ... being aware of a heritage of great value! I attended

Io e Giosuè, siamo riusciti to get dressed properly ... to protect us from the mud, and walk a short ride from the first forazza open manhole on the street ... there penetrated by natural light and looking up we said goodbye to Sofia and Silvia had remained on the surface. In the Middle Ages it was a stretch of aqueduct, now at the bottom of the rainwater flow passage ... and the experienced staff we set for the sewer plant maintenance in the duct. On either side of the tunnel where the remains of the hooks ran the old phone line.

newly resurfaced ... we headed to the Palazzo Vitelli a Sant'Egidio icebox ... here, once going into a grove, the adventure has been able ... to open the door! Nothing to do ... in unexpected way! We can imagine that this cave from 1500 until the end of 1800 kept the ice used for food and health! At one time they used the ice to fight the fever!
The technique of preservation of the ice has reached us by the ancient Romans! Those of you who remember how we did in tabernae of Ostia Antica?

The funny thing was that another group of participants in the visit, a butcher in Citta di Castello, told us that he also has his studio in the basement of an old refrigerator ... natural! We continue to discover ... Special City underground!

Then we head northwest towards the walls, we come out of the gate of S. Andrea and we holed into a bastion of the wall: it was an armory. Antonella, here in the dark, teaches us that: "The effect of gunpowder urbanism was that suddenly became useless fortifications, that the walls and towers through which you can control who is neared the city, and regulate the entrance through the doors. Before the invention of gunpowder for military occupation of a city under siege and it was necessary to wait for the people end up food stocks. With gunpowder were built guns and bullets can easily meet the fortified walls, making them useless in terms of defense and allowing easy targets to hit inside, destroying and occupying the city easily impressed. The boundary walls around the cities of the works have become useless. "

Finally we come, through the Corso Vittorio Emanuele among the astonished gaze of the people walking through purchases (we with torches and boots ..), via the Tower Botte.
They say ... "then you'll understand why it's called that!"
Again we go to a private home, to greet the owner in person ... and ... hell broke loose! No, I say! Buried earth!
Under the garden of the house purchased in 2000 and threatens to dig ... .. come to light 900 square meters of underground city, in perfect condition, local, towers, vaults, stairs, tunnels ... another city !

... 10 years of work under the direction of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage!
And we have been able to visit .. thanks to the curiosity of members of the Cooperative Polyhedron that having practically in front of the office, they asked ... day after day: "What will happen here that dig, dig ..." An incredible story! Also judging from the face of the other participants of the ... almost all locals, who have potuto risolvere l'arcano dei lavori in cima a V. Torrione della Botte! Attoniti!

Bleeding Heavy With Multiples

Sense .. of an educational trip

I assure you it's different!

First of all, I found that the real protagonists of this event are the same guys who animate the exhibition halls or because they are on duty at the booth of their school, or because they have to present a special activity or the prgetto their school, or why a visit and booked at the many conferences, workshops, etc..
It seems a good thing! Never speak of them, the students, without them! That is all right?

were the children and young people themselves to decide on their school trip! would be very easy and the sense of a journey .. education is really complement!

But it is not so!
How does the school trips? TEA
VERGANI, case travel guide teaching, writes:

The procedure is complex: the teachers (or school heads) choose the goals, compare quotes, they have families. Then, the choice is made by the Council approve a Class of Teachers, generally in the autumn. Still, it requires the approval of the Council of the Institute. This happens in all schools of all levels, although with slight modifications. It is the school that signed contracts with suppliers, book and pay for tourism services. I know that readers prefer to organize this site almost all the way alone, like "travel DIY. But schools can not just do this: think for every trip you must send the school at least three quotes! It 's the Ministerial Circular No 291 that it must take precautions and check the reliability of suppliers: operating license, joining the National Guarantee Fund, insurance policies, et cetera. It is not mandatory to choose the cheapest quote: It is a tender, since that will pay families. We will choose the solution that will collectively be higher, and I assure you that the discussions in this regard are very thorough!

Here, in preparing the presentation material for the Workshop application - offered, I thought that, with respect to this difficult procedure could make us choose ! I do not know ... very difficult, when you participate in these workshops, as bid, understood to have long waits and listen to others describe, explain their proposal! You always feel like the professor is more interested in others! But I always seem ... that the mountains of paper that you go back home .. to the end .. piùa the trash!

Then try to arouse curiosity, to make questions, to talk and listen ... and so you tell them umbria, their journeys, success stories ... the memories, the desire to come back again ...

I met so many friends ... ... as many of my colleagues that there is always found at fairs, those with whom you work for the marketing of travel, teachers that we hosted last educational in Citta di Castello in September!

A tribe 'which travels!

Buy Tourism Online 2010

In the exceptional setting of BTO - Buy Tourism Online was held the meeting "Tourism in 3D", organized by Zoes.it

The BTO is a highly innovative operators in the tourism sector, say an event, even formative, to immerse completely, where you talk about how the online is transforming the tourism industry. The organizers are very creative and provocative, they think of us and you ... (Not just us, not just you) look, just to understand, as it was the organizing team!

Passepartout .. We dream of participating from last year thinking it would be almost impossible ... to bring our diversity '!
But this year we thought Zoes to invite us to ask for rappresemtarci, THE MAT !!

Siamo sicuramente complicati...forti e deboli, affidabili e sorprendenti, unici!

INNAMORATEVI
